Hello!
My name is Kennedy Brooke Russell. I am an 18 year old amateur artist heralding from Southern California. I currently attend the University of California, Irvine as a first-year undergraduate student and I am studying education sciences to fulfill my aspirations of becoming an elementary school teacher! I also work part-time at a plumbing distributor working with large plumbing/bathroom remodeling companies like Ferguson Enterprises, Plumbing Supply Group, Winsupply Incorporated, Hajoca Corporations, as well as smaller supply groups all across the United States as customer service and sales rep.
Ever since I was little, I always loved art, no matter what it may be. I remember as a young girl scribbling away on some pieces of paper and my mom loving whatever I created. Both my love for art and my mom's encourage and love for whatever I pursued has lead me to where I am today. I may not draw as much as I would like to anymore due to school and work often getting in the way. However, I always find time for it and will post whatever I make on this page.
I created this page roughly 5 years ago during very tough times in my life, and shared my art as means of forgetting about my current life and escaping from reality. Now, as an adult, I wish to revamp this page and post my art as a way of showing my overcoming of difficult, seemingly impossible, challenges and showing my love for life.
I post mainly illustrations of original characters I have created as a part of my WIP fantasy series by the name of Forgotten Myths. If you wish to delve more into these characters and read a decently good and surprisingly dark series, then you may check out the story below. I am always editing it whenever I can and constantly rewriting so I apologize ahead for this. Remember it is a work in progress!
